College again, and a bit of life

This feels like last year, when I was constantly just talking about AP on here. Sarah, it's your turn for that.

Two more college letters...I got into John Carroll, a Catholic school in Cleveland (:)), while the same day's mail brought the official rejection letter from U of I. I didn't really want to go there (you can't really get into their School of Education till junior year, all my other schools are freshman year), but it was still a bit depressing. Thank you, Matt, I know you've put up with quite a bit of my ranting over the last 18 months and even before that.
So now I just need to hear from UMass and Northwestern, which won't be for another month. I'm not officially saying where I'm going till I hear from all my schools, but at the moment I'm almost positive it's going to be Marquette. Kind of ironic, I heard about the school when Brenna went up to spend the night with a friend our sophomore year and when I heard she was considering the school, I thought she was crazy for wanting to go Milwaukee of all places.

Countdowns:
Mid-Year Concert - Tomorrow

Choices!

Going into finals, I have (at least) two colleges choices, because I found out today that Marquette accepted me!

They were impressed by my "commitment to athletics", they underlined it in pen and wrote an exclamation point above it. Hehe.

Off I go to write a philosophy outline. Good luck everyone!

Turnabout

Let's just get this out of the way, before finals and jazz fest....

Matt and I are still going out.....just not to Turnabout. We're just making our own plans.

(Sorry, all global exchange club members.)

Good luck to everyone asking.

Quote of the Day (from church)

Priest: "A girl asked her father, 'Daddy, do all fairy tales start with 'Once Upon A Time?' and he said, 'No honey, some of them start with 'When elected, I promise...'"

Also, never seen so many NT people at Target. Everyone was doing Adopt-A-Family shopping.
